{"id":4255,"date":"2021-09-13T09:45:30","date_gmt":"2021-09-13T13:45:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bellemeade-ky.gov\/?p=4255"},"modified":"2021-09-13T09:45:30","modified_gmt":"2021-09-13T13:45:30","slug":"commission-agenda-september-13-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bellemeade-ky.gov\/?p=4255","title":{"rendered":"Commission Agenda September 13, 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Regular Meeting Agenda<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>September 13, 2021 at 7:00 PM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 700 Room, 1st Floor<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>700 North Hurstbourne Parkway<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Louisville, KY 40222<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Call To Order &#8211;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Approval of Previous Minutes &#8211;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reports &#8211; Each Report Will be Followed by Comments from Each Commissioner Who Wishes to Speak.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Treasurer&#8217;s Report and Adoption<\/li><li>Mayor\u2019s Report &#8211; James Martin<ul><li>American Recovery Plan Funding Update &#8211; total amount of&nbsp; $132,864.00 as part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; This is substantially lower than the preliminary estimate, but was reduced after our budget certification was received. &nbsp;The Bellemeade Commission wants input on how those funds should be spent.&nbsp; All costs must be incurred by December 31, 2024.&nbsp; Eligible uses include:<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>(1) Household Assistance &#8211; including food assistance; rent, mortgage, or utility assistance; counseling and legal aid; cash assistance to households are allowed, but they must be proportional to the negative economic impact on the household.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(2) Investing in Water, Sewer, and Broadband Infrastructure<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(3) Special-Purpose Districts \u2013 including school districts, water districts, or fire districts \u2013 will not receive funding allocations; however, cities may transfer money to these districts to further goals of the act.
