Regular meeting of January 9, 2023 was postponed as a result of Mayor\u2019s unavailability in consultation with all commissioners and staff.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Spoke with Hatfield Media &#8211; Would like to get all IT and website, hosting, domain, under the control of city clerk.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Will update code of ordinances to reflect new ordinances and changes after February 2023 meeting. \u00a0Request that City Attorney Stephen Porter review and provide thoughts.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>American Rescue Plan Funding Update &#8211; total amount of $132,864.00 as part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Bellemeade Commission wants input on how those funds should be spent.\u00a0 All costs must be incurred by December 31, 2024.\u00a0 Eligible uses are now greatly expanded since there is now a presumed amount of lost revenue up to $10,000,000 for each city.\u00a0 Cities can use their full amounts for traditional governmental services.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Current Commission Discussions Have Focused on:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Police security increase.<\/li><li>Tree Planting<\/li><li>Drainage Ditch clearing behind South Hamptom \u2013 issues include liability and resident permission to enter onto their property.<\/li><li>Partial Reimbursement for Resident Home Camera Installation<\/li><li>Updating the streetlights \u2013 LED and adding more between.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Commissioner Reports<ul><li>Public Events \u2013<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Public Lands \u2013<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Public Works \u2013<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Public Safety \u2013<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Public Comments &#8211; In Accordance with Commission Rules<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New Business \u2013<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf Robin Mountain has decided to resign his position and selection process of new candidate will be discussed.<br \/>o \u201cNo vacancy by reason of voluntary resignation in the office of mayor or on a legislative body shall occur unless a written resignation which specifies a resignation date is tendered to the legislative body.
