Commissioner Sandy Walker has been in touch with Louisville Water Company. She reports that there is a bigger water pipe repair issue now because Bellemeade’s shutoffs are also connected to the UL/Shelbyhurst Campus water supply. The Water Company’s current plan is to identify proper shutoff gates tomorrow, but they will likely not start the work of repairing the two broken shutoff gates until Friday. It is believed that there may be a water shut off beginning possibly Monday around 9 am during daytime hours until all is repaired. Bellemeade residents may experience daytime water outages 1 or 2 days next week.
